Transcribe voice notes from any messaging app on your Mac
InkSaid is not a WhatsApp tool. If an app lets you share, save or download a voice note, InkSaid can turn it into text on your own Mac, and keep it with every other note from that person.
The rule is simple
If you can get the voice note out of the app as a file, InkSaid can transcribe it. Share it to your Mac, AirDrop it, save it to Downloads, or drop it on the InkSaid window. InkSaid reads the common voice note formats: .opus, .ogg, .m4a, .aac, .amr, .caf, .mp3 and .wav.
While InkSaid is open, it watches your Downloads folder, so a note saved there is transcribed on its own, without you touching it.
By app
| App | Single voice notes | Whole chat import |
|---|---|---|
| Yes | Yes, on Pro | |
| Signal | Yes | Not yet |
| Telegram | Yes | Not yet |
| iMessage | Yes | Not yet |
| LINE, Zalo, Viber, Messenger | Yes, when the app lets you save or share the note | Not yet |
Whole chat import puts every voice note back in the conversation, with who sent it and when. It reads WhatsApp exports today, because WhatsApp is the app that exports whole chats with their audio. We tell you here before you find out the hard way.
One archive, every app
People do not stay in one app. A supplier sends WhatsApp notes, a friend uses Signal, family uses iMessage. With InkSaid Pro, every note you transcribe is kept on your Mac in one private archive, filed by person, whichever app it came from. Search a word and find the note, without remembering where it was sent.
What never changes
Whatever the app, the audio is transcribed on your own Mac and never uploaded. Single notes are free. Founding members get Pro, with the archive, for $39 a year instead of $79.
